The slender stems of this plant are covered with whorled leaves while the blooms face downward with highly recurved tepals. The striking colors make it an excellent border plant. You can also plant it in beds, containers and patios. Gardens and terraces look spectacular when adorned with these magnificent lilies.
Water regularly to keep the soil moist. It should never be left dry.
Cut back the stems and leaves after they turn yellow, post the flowering season.
Feed a granular fertilizer twice a year, once at the start of flowering and again when the plants are done with their blooming. Apply an organic mulch in mid-July.
