Warts are incredibly common, incredibly persistent, and incredibly unique. When it comes to treatment, this makes them an incredible pain in the butt. Doctors and dermatologists have a whole range of wart removal options to offer. Unfortunately, they can be painful, scarring, and expensive. Worst of all, they are often ineffective over long periods of time. A single treatment may take many applications before it is visibly effective. And after all that, the wart often comes back. Further, what works on one wart will often fail on the next. That is why many people seek out natural treatments for their wart, relying on their doctors for advice rather than treatment.

Doing Nothing At All

Of course, the most inexpensive and successful natural remedy for warts is to simply wait them out. In most cases the body and the immune system will boot the virus within about two year. Children, in particular, frequently ‘lose’ their warts spontaneously. Many of us find warts to be painful and unpleasant to deal with, however. If you don’t want to wait that long then there are other options as well.

Natural Remedies

The most commonly recommended natural treatment for warts is an application of apple cider vinegar. The key here is the vinegar. Repeated application can irritate the wart, but it can also irritate surrounding skin so be sure to protect the area. You can also try applying vitamin e oil, clove oil, aloe vera, milkweed juice, or milky juice from unripe figs. There are several recommended internal remedies as well. Anything that will strengthen your immune response can help so try ecchinacea, vitamins, and garlic tablets. Finally, remember that this is a process and it can take time to find the right cure for your warts. If natural remedies are not working for you, then simply seek the advice of your doctor, but do not give up hope of curing your warts.
