Looking at our country’s history, and the nature of politics and government today, one has to wonder sometimes whether or not we can ever get past all the partisanship and on to the hard work of problem-solving. Lost amid the rancor is the common ground on which we all stand – as seen in the world of fashion. Usually, slogans like “Buy American” and “Grow Organic” are unfurled by those on opposite sides, but not in the world of organic clothing.

Organic Cotton Clothes

Many companies offer organic cotton clothes right here in the U.S.A., adding new significance to the term “homespun”. Organic clothiers are also, generally speaking, of the “fair trade” (and not just free trade) mindset, with a respectful approach to their growers and workers. Conservative, liberal or indifferent, everyone can benefit from the manufacture and sale of organic cotton clothing.

  1. Organic is great and so is fair trade. It is good that at least there are more companies in the USA starting to follow this trend. And not only is the organic trade helping the country but it is also better for the land.
