Solar panels that use human hair? It sounds like something out of a very bad sci-fi novel but that is exactly what one young man has invented.
With the intent to provide electricity to home and then his village in Nepal, Milan Karki may have just revolutionized solar energy.
The panel uses human hair as a conductor instead of silicone, produces 9V of energy and costs about $45 bucks to make. The best part, Karki is just 18 years old!
