Very interesting. Congrats! We are growing a small veggy garden in Segovia, Spain, and I have noticed that the ants will help you get rid of weeds, since they will remove the seeds of the patch. As long as you only seed directly big seeds like courgettes and beans and you keep the ants away from your seeding site, of course :-) Thank you for sharing your experiences.
