I am really excited about my garden this year. Not only have I already been enjoying strawberries, but most of my seeds have begun to sprout.

While I am looking forward to enjoying all of my veggies, there is one vegetable that I am really excited about this year.

Being back in this warm climate I decided to grow artichokes. While many people enjoy these pokey vegetables, they shy away from growing them in their home gardens. This year I am out to prove that they are easier to grow than you may think, and perfect for home gardens.

This is the first time I am growing them I will share with you everything I learn throughout the process. First be sure to give them a lot of space. The plant will grow 3-4 feet tall and wide so they needs lost of room. They will do well in most soil however they prefer rich, sandy soil.
