Anyone with a houseplant can tell you how devastating winter can be. Sure, they are inside, protected from the elements. But, it’s not the winter weather that wreaks havoc on you indoor plants, it’s the lighting.

You know what I am talking about. The winter sun just isn’t strong enough, so only half your plant gets enough sun to stay healthy and green. If you want to the other side to continue to stay healthy you have to rotate the pot a couple times a week. This may not sound that difficult but some of us have huge houseplants with very heavy pots. The thought of muscling the pot every couple days not only sounds like a workout, but also sounds like a backache.
