Body Oil
Historical records show that Egyptian women used body oil as the primary component of their skin care regimen dating all the back to the times when the Pharaoh’s ruled Egypt. Back then, women in Egypt used body oil so often that they became known far and wide for their alabaster like skin. This skin care technique was in used by Egyptian women of all classes and it was even paid out as part of an Egyptian workers wages.
Body oil is still widely used by Egyptian women in this day and age. There are a wide variety of manufactures that produce body oil which can be bought online.
Almonds
One of the “secret ingredients” to Egyptian cosmetics over the years has been Almonds. Cosmetic manufacturers use almonds in everything from producing almond oil, eye cream and shampoo.
Aloe Vera
To fight back against the harmful effects of the sun’s rays Egyptians discovered the healing powers of aloe Vera very early and used that to help moisturize their skin after sun burns and even consume aloe Vera in their daily diets to keep their colons and intestinal tracks regulated.
Lifestyle
Dating back to the times of the Pharaohs, Egyptians have always placed an emphasis on staying healthy and fit because maintaining good health was one way that they slowed down the ageing process in their lives. This practice is still followed by women in Egypt today who make daily physical exercise an important part of their lives as well as following a healthy diet full of fresh fruits, vegetables and grains.
