When I was in school we use to call the school lunches “mystery meat”. Now it seems like everything we get at the grocers is a mystery. Knowing exactly where food comes from and being there for the entire process is priceless.
Sure there is an initial start up cost but in the first year of gardening you even more in food. Especially now with the price of everything going up.
If you don’t know how beneficial gardening can be for the soul, try it.
Maybe someone should tell Mick Jagger. Okay, bad joke but seriously there is nothing quite as satisfying as serving a salad that you grew in your garden.
Nothing and I mean nothing, taste as good as home grown food. The fruits and vegetables we buy in the grocery store have been picked before they have a chance to ripen. This is obviously going to affect the taste. If you really want to know what carrots or tomatoes are suppose to taste, the way nature intended, grow them yourself. You’ll be amazed by the difference in taste.
So plant an organic garden today! It is super easy and inexpensive. You’ll be glad you did
